Disclaimer : In the event of any discrepancy or conflict, the English version will prevail over the translation.

The physical items purchased from highspeedshorthand.com are returnable within the period of 07 days.

For the products that are returned by the customer, the replacement is done to the original address given by the buyer at the time of original purchase or refund is issued to the original payment method.

General Returns Policy

  1. Applicable products are returnable within the period of 07 days if you’ve received them in a condition that is physically damaged, has missing parts or accessories, defective or different from their description on the product detail page on highspeedshorthand.com.
  2. Return will be processed only if:
    • it is determined that the product was not damaged while in your possession;
    • the product is not different from what was shipped to you;
    • the product is returned in original condition (with brand’s/manufacturer’s box, MRP tag intact, user manual, warranty card and all the accessories therein).
  3. Products may not be eligible for return in some cases, including cases of buyer’s remorse such as incorrect model or color of product ordered or incorrect product ordered.
  4. Products marked as “non-returnable” on the product detail page cannot be returned. However, in an unlikely event of damaged, defective or wrong item delivered to you, we will provide a full refund or replacement, as applicable. We may contact you to ascertain the damage or defect in the product prior to issuing refund/replacement. We reserve the right to pick up the product to ascertain the damage or defect in the product prior to issuing refund/replacement. In some cases, where the pick up facility is not available, the buyer has to ship the product to our address for availing the replacement of the product.
  5. Products may be eligible for replacement only if the same item is available in stock.
  6. If the replacement request is placed and the exact same product is not available in stock, a refund would be issued to you.
  7. Products purchased by international customers are not eligible for returns.
  8. In the event customers are found to misuse the return policy by excessively returning, or cancelling or not accepting the orders placed, High Speed Shorthand Publications reserves the right to warn and/or suspend and/or block and/or terminate such customer accounts, as necessary.
  9. High Speed Shorthand Publications reserves the right to deny the return and refund in the case of suspicious activity.
  10. High Speed Shorthand Publications reserves the right to change the return and refund policy at any time without any prior notice.

Note: If you’ve received a non-returnable product in a damaged/defective condition, you can contact us within 07 days from the delivery of the product.

Note: Once we receive your return and if there is a need to issue a refund, then the refund is issued to the original payment method or in the buyer’s bank account. If needed, a cheque in the name of the buyer may be issued.

*If the standard time-frame as mentioned in the above table has expired and you have still not received the refund, please contact your credit or debit card issuer or your bank for more information. Refunds will not be processed in cash. Refunds can be processed via paper cheque only in exceptional cases.

*In the case of refund, convenience charge/transaction charges deducted by online payment gateway will be ducted from final settlement amount.

Note: International customers are not eligible for refunds.

Refund for Pay on Delivery Orders:

For Pay on Delivery orders, refunds will be processed either to your bank account (via National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT)) or by Cheque (in some cases).

If you wish to receive the Pay on Delivery order’s refund to your bank account, you can update the details of the bank account in Your Account section or from the Returns Centre when you are returning an item.

Note: Refunds cannot be processed to third-party accounts. The name on your account on highspeedshorthand.com should match with the name of the bank account holder.

*In the case of refund, convenience charge/transaction charges deducted by online payment gateway will be ducted from final settlement amount.

Paper cheque clearing

All cheque refunds will be in form of “at par” Indian Overseas Bank cheques. All cheques are cleared according to the policy of Indian Overseas Bank and the policy of Customer’s Bank.

Note: Once a cheque is issued, High Speed Shorthand Publications will send you an e-mail with the tracking details of the refund cheque within 4 business days from the date of refund.

Shipping Cost Refunds

  1. In case where the wrong, damaged or defective product is delivered to you and there is a necessity to replace the product and the pick-up facility is not available, then the shipping cost will be borne by us but the customer has to send the original product at our registered address.
  2. In case where the pick-up facility is available, the customer has to pack the original product and make it ready for pick up. The pick-up shipping cost will be borne by us.
  3. In all other cases, the customer has to borne the shipping cost.
  4. Shipping cost, in any case, will not be refunded
